Prayer Breakfast

The 48th Anniversary of the Good Friday Prayer Breakfast is upon us and will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the City of Homestead Harris Field Pavilion. Doors open for Breakfast at 7:00 AM.

Breakfast tickets are a donation of $10 for adults, $5 for students. Please secure your tickets in advance from any Kiwanis Club Member or at the door the day of.

This sunrise service is open to the entire community and is held on the Christian holiday of Good Friday. The focus of the event is on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are honored to announce this year’s keynote speaker as popular former South Dade High School Principal, Javier (Javi) Perez, bringing us a message titled, “No Legs No Problem.”

Attendees will enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked and served once again by the fabulous GFCW Women’s Club of Homestead and will host various community partners performing praise and worship including Crossbridge Church Worship team, Soloist Becki Thomas, and Miss. Fleurimond for dance.

Thank you to our dedicated sponsors which play a very important part in our Prayer Breakfast as they help to defray the costs for this event. Support also contributes towards the complimentary tickets distributed to our military members of Homestead Air Reserve Base as well as to the local area priests, deacons and pastors.

All are welcome to join us for a morning filled with hope, prayer and fellowship.
