We were honored to welcome Chief Mario Knapp and members of the Homestead Police Department as our guest speakers. Chief Knapp shared an informative update on the department’s continued progress, including technology enhancements, community engagement efforts, safe driving initiatives, and the dedicated work being done each day to keep Homestead safe. We are grateful for the commitment and professionalism of the men and women who serve and protect our community.![]()

We were also delighted to recognize one of our 2026 Kiwanis Scholarship recipients, Samantha, who joined us today with her mother to receive her scholarship award before beginning her next chapter at Florida State University. In addition to her academic achievements, Sofia has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and looks forward to continuing that tradition throughout her college years. We wish her continued success as she pursues her goals and represents the very best of our community.![]()
