DESCRIPTION:\nThe 48th Anniversary of the Good Friday Prayer Breakfast is upon us and will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the City of Homestead Harris Field Pavilion. Doors open for Breakfast at 7:00 AM.\n\nBreakfast tickets are a donation of $10 for adults, $5 for students. Please secure your tickets in advance from any Kiwanis Club Member or at the door the day of.\n\nThis sunrise service is open to the entire community and is held on the Christian holiday of Good Friday. The focus of the event is on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are honored to announce this year’s keynote speaker as popular former South Dade High School Principal, Javier (Javi) Perez, bringing us a message titled, “No Legs No Problem.”\n\nAttendees will enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked and served once again by the fabulous GFCW Women’s Club of Homestead and will host various community partners performing praise and worship including Crossbridge Church Worship team, Soloist Becki Thomas, and Miss. Fleurimond for dance.\n\nThank you to our dedicated sponsors which play a very important part in our Prayer Breakfast as they help to defray the costs for this event.
